Pirates 3 turned out to be better then I expected. They closed all the main storylines by the end. Even hinting to the possiblity of another movie. Pirates was filled with alot of action and tons of backstabbing (in true pirates fashion). There were a few parts of the movie that I do not think were explained very well at all (Tia Dalma's Calypso Transformation, The Dutchmans Next Captain). But other then those points the movie was fantastic. It had bits of humour here and there but had a much more serious tone then the last two movies. There were a few parts that dragged on but I think it did a good job for a 3 hour movie. There were many special effects throughout the whole movie that were greatly done they really upped the bar in that department.

The story continued from where Dead Mans Chest left off, Barbossa and the other Crew members search for Jack brought them to Sao Fengs Bath house where they needed charts to get to davy jones locker and how to return back to the living world.

Beckett has control now of Davy Jones and starts his reign by commanding Jones to kill all the pirates. So Jack/Barbossa and all the Pirate Lords must join forces to defeat Cutler and Jones.

The story takes may twists and turns and in the end I think it is very satisfying.I would rate it 9/10.
