PotC2: Dead Man's Chest

Davey Jones captains a ghostly ship called "The Flying Dutchman," which is crewed by lost sailors, who have become deformed over time to look like half-human, half-sea creature hybrids. He also has a pet Kraken *giant squid*.

Jack owes Davey Jones a blood debt. It is speculated that he had lost his soul in a game of Liar's Dice (speculated about thirteen years ago).

Will and Elizabeth are blissfully living in Port Royal. On their wedding day they are arrested. This arrest was deviced by Lord Beckett (of East India company) who somehow thinks the couple knows where Jack is.
James Norrington has been searching for Jack Sparrow and has resigned from his position. (or was forced to leave it).

They blackmail Will Turner by *arresting Elizabeth Swann* and ask him to lead them to Jack.

Instead of Will, Elizabeth finds Jack. The compass no longer works for him but *it does for Elizabeth*. Apparently the compass is for one to find "heart's true desire." i.e. Black Pearl for Jack, Will Turner for Elizabeth.

Meanwhile, Jack is looking for a "chest" (also known as Davey Jones' Locker). As the myth goes, "Jones was so wounded from love he literally tore his heart out." It is rumoured that his love was Calypso. The goddess of sea. Jack believes that if he finds the "heart" he can get Davey Jones to write off his debt. If he is unsuccessful he maybe doomed to an afterlife of servitude (like many sailors abroad Flying Dutchman - Including Bootstrap Bill).

From Barbossa's old crew Pintel and Regetti are now serving under Jack Sparrow. They have some comic sequences with the two reminiscent of the first movie. At some point Jack and Elizabeth are *reunited* with Will on Cannibal Island. (The man that gets caught in a snare in the trailer is Will). The cannibalistic tribe is preparing to eat him and rather than persuading them to let him go Jack himself becomes an entre (again, as we saw in the trailer). Of course thats not the end of both our heroes and they do escape.

Tia Dalma who is a soothesayer is speculated to know the whereabouts of the "chest." She is a voodoo witch who sees *something special* in Will Turner. It is said that her role will become more prominent in the third movie.

Jack and Elizabeth bump into James Norrington at Tortuga where Norrington tries to shoot Jack.
All three men (Jack, Will, James, and possibly others) will sword fight to contend for the posession of the mystical chest for their own reasons.

Davey Jones finds out about the ordeal and sends his pet Kraken over at the Pearl who is speculated to sink the Black Pearl and with it Jack Sparrow. Jack does not die but goes to a purgatory. The chest is lost to Davey Jones again.

Will and Elizabeth after having thought that their friend "Jack" has died find out (speculated: by Tia Dalma's character) that he can be rescued. *At the Blue Bayou (Tia's Shack)*
